Poor quality food, Unsafe – Gross. My husband and I recently moved downtown and went to the Piggly Wiggly for the first time last week. The produce was not very fresh. I bought an avocado that felt OK, and when I got home and cut it open the inside was dark brown and spoiled. We needed fresh mozarella (which I was AMAZED to find here) but when I opened the vacuum-sealed package I discovered that the cheese had a foul odor and was also spoiled! moldy produce; egg refrigerator not working!!!!!!! – The "pig" is close so I shop there sometimes for the basics. Tonight, I saw moldy produce and moved on to keep shopping. I picked up some eggs out of the refrigerator case and they were warm! I looked at the thermometer and it was at 60 degrees (the highest it could go), but the temperature was obviously a lot higher!!!
