I tried to get a job here and they told me because i was dating someone and lived with him and he worked at the store that I couldn't get a job there. Which is total BS since the meat department manager Keith and his wife Julia work in not just the same store but the same market and he is her boss. You tell me how that is fair? I really like their fresh meats.
This is the most poorly managed PW I have ever entered. On three occasions the milk I bought was sour and when I brought it to the manager's attention I was told they had a disgruntled employee...huh? FIRE HIM!! The store is dirty and under staffed as well as understocked. Shame on the pig!!
My Piggly Wiggly located on Simmons St. in New Bern, NC has the nicest outstanding employees. If I forget an item they will go get it for me. The hot meals are the best I have ever had, they can't be beat. The manager John is one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of meeting. His store is always neat and clean, and his employees are always friendly. I have never been disapointed with a purchase at this store, and enjoy shopping there. This Piggly Wiggly is now vacant and empty. It was sold a couple of years back. The store is still standing but there is no business there anymore. There is a Piggly Wiggly in Armurchee still in business out past the new mall.
My all-time favorite grocery store in T'ville.
