I'm sad. The store is closing.
My brother, nephew, and I went to Evergreen Walk in South Windsor, Connecticut. Unfortunately Pier 1 is closing. I didn't see a lot of merchandise on the shelves. It's too bad because Pier 1 used to be the place to go to when you needed a nice piece of furniture or a rug or a candle holder. Every piece of merchandise was unique and a conversation starter. So long Pier 1 it was great. Sometimes all good things must come to an end. I'm going to miss you.
