Bought chicken from here that had expired a day before the best before date. Returned the next day and they refused to give my money back as I did not have a paper receipt.
Can be very pricey, and then sometimes ok, deli is very good, 1 lady very helpful,knows her stuff, very fresh yummy deli..overall good local ...mum loves it
This is a fantastic locally owned and operated supermarket, a smaller twin to the famous Fitzroy store. It is well-priced and has an extensive deli & liquor section despite the smaller size of the supermarket. It has everything you could possibly need and more. I hope they never change the store, it really is a no-fuss, good old fashioned supermarket. The staff are friendly and the man who I presume is the manager always gives you a smile around the store even if he isn’t serving you.
Great local supermarket that I frequent quite regularly my only suggestion is to please teach checkout staff how to correctly pack bags. There are several staff that virtually throw the items in any order in to the bags. Thank you.
