Oh wow! I was lucky to be gifted an exquisite Persian Love Cake for my birthday, made by Steve, Picnic Society's remarkable pastry chef. I've had Persian Love Cakes before and could take them or leave them — they've often been a little dry, not particularly flavourful, and I couldn't work out what all the fuss was about. Now I know!
