Love my IGA, grabbed a BBQ chicken and rolls and headed to Bainda Boulders for a picnic with my family. Amazingly delicious
For the longest time—mainly when I was growing up—I always thought IGA was overpriced and unappealing. Fast forward to now, and IGA is the only supermarket where you'll get great customer service—nothing like the other two, and we all know who the other two are. Another amazing choice they made was ditching paper bags, because they break easily and they don’t want their customers’ groceries falling on the ground and smashing. I used to love shopping at this store, but with it now being Perries IGA, I'm really disappointed. I purchased some tinned milk with a use by date of end of September 2026. They were all congealed and whilst not dangerous, definitely unpalatable. The staff couldn't have been less interested and told me to ring Nestlé and take it up with them. I really was trying to help anyone else making future purchases of that particular batch. Apparently they are still happy to keep selling unsuitable tinned milks. I won't be back!
