Warning to anyone thinking of banking here. Constant issues with this credit union. Sub par online banking. Bad app. They just "fixed" these issues and somehow made an already inferior product much worse. Website is a mess. Basic functions dont work. Horrible customer service if you need to call them. Zelle down for weeks, and its always "gonna be back tomorrow". I use that service all the time, and this has moved beyond an inconvenience to a legit reason for me to move my banking elsewhere. Moved from out of state and wanted to be a member of a local CU. Nice place with welcoming lobby. Visited the Rockaway branch in person and they wouldn't take me, said I lived in the wrong county. They could've easily gave me a personal referral, or walked me through a "worships in..." exception. But the interaction was so matter of fact and without emotion. I felt like they didn't care if they got new business.
Was in the process of getting an auto Loan. Was just missing my pay stubs. And when I had gotten them before I could upload them I was asked if I was still interested. I said yes and that I was going to send them over as soon as I was done work. Before I had the chance to even come home from work I was declined.
