Dr. Clapp is the best!!! I started seeing her for debilitating sciatic nerve pain during my pregnancy and she fixed it in one session. I did pelvic floor therapy with her throughout my pregnancy and it made the biggest difference in my birth experience. But her pregnancy program is so much more than pelvic floor work! She helped me mentally prepare for labor and delivery. She worked with whatever weird pregnancy pain I walked in with. Gave my husband ways to support me. The best part is that she stays with you AFTER delivery... read more

Dr. Clapp is the best! I was referred to her by my sister for knee and hip pain. I suffered a traumatic injury to my tibia and sustained 3 fractures over a year ago. I had 3 surgeries within this period 2 less than a month apart. Due to the severity of my injury it caused me to have chronic pain in my knee and shin. Over a period of time I developed hip pain. I had been treated by several doctors no one could provide me relief other than a pill or injection. Also, I had been seen by two different pt practices. The first pt ... read more

Dr. Clapp and her team are absolutely incredible. I didn’t feel I was making progress with another pelvic floor pt and making the switch is absolutely worth it, the cost, the drive, all of it. She is worth every penny. Dry needling was the key and a specialized program weekly is so much more helpful than what I had before. She goes above and beyond every session. I am so glad I found her.

She came highly recommended, willing to do almost anything to get back to a pain free, functional active life I decided to make the 3 hour commute to Richmond, VA to see her. After years of hip and knee pain and recently upper back pain from sports, auto injuries and 40 years plus as a nurse I was losing hope. To add, I was also treated for breast cancer last year which included surgery and radiation. Dr. Clapp spent a great deal of time taking my history, getting to know me, and assessing pain le... read more

I’m in my mid-30s and have struggled with frequent urination for years. I was really hesitant to try pelvic floor therapy, but I decided to give it a shot. I first saw Dr. Clapp at Physical Therapy Specialists of Virginia. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel comfortable and hopeful about the process. At the time, I found out they no longer worked with insurance, so I went somewhere else that did. After 6 weeks of therapy with no real improvement, I decided to go back to Dr. Clapp—and I’m so glad... read more
