My wife scratched her 4 year old Samsung S21+ 5G phone screen on gravel after dropping it. Turns out the screen protector was still on and it was peeled off to reveal an undamaged screen. Very honest. We paid £10 for a new high-quality screen protector. Timson's had already quoted £250 for a new screen and failed to spot the protector. I went back in later in the day and had a screen protector fitted to my Google Pixel 8 Pro.
