The Clinton address has been closed for years, but they don’t fix any of its listings. Went today (from out of town, so not a short trip@) to look at trains. Average selection of HO and N, paint and parts. Tried to purchase some old Lionel……even broken stuff for parts….and was rudely shooed away by the clerk who said they were not for sale til they were evaluated. So much for customer service! phils has just about everything . They have been in town for years .its just to bad you have to have a second job to afford there prices..I was shocked at the price tags..
They carry a variety of products and can order whatever you want. Phils has Specialized service to learn how to fly or how to in the hobby industry.They also belong to National Retail Hobby Stores Assoc which is a nationwide organization of hobby dealers.
Great Place , Just go in and find what you want . They have never not had what I needed. Whether cars ,boats, planes and even trains. They probably have it.
I went into the store, not knowing what tyoe or size of RTF Electric Helicopter to buy. Phil the owner approached me and started asking me questions. He was very helpful in my decision. He demonstrated each one right there in the store before I made a decision. His advice and answers to my questions were very helpful. Phil's Hobby Shop has a great selection of Model Trains, Model Airplanes, Model Helicopters, Model Rockets and Regular Models. They also have a good selection of Slot Car Racing equipment. BUT, they have NO Role Playing Games (such as Dungeons & Dragons, WarHammer 40K, Vampirem, Werewolf, BattleTech, etc), NO Board Games / Strategy Games (such as Avalon Hill Games, Axis & Allies, WWII Games, etc), NO Card Games (such as Magic The Gathering or Pokemon), NO Lead Minuature and NO Comic Books / Comic Cards.
