Had a decent experience buying a bike recently. After the purchase I made a few attempts to call looking for parts, nothing in stock for bmx to speak of. Made a call to find a wheelset, the same one that came on my bike so I could purchase another set to put on another bike I was building. Spent 10 mins on the phone with a lovely young lady who took all the information, my name, my number and reassured me they would give me a call. That call never came. It's been over a week. This my first visit to Philbrick's. It is a well stocked story with a very helpful staff. I went there to buy a new bike. I bought my last bike about 40 years ago so I had a lot of questions. Darwin helped me pick out exactly the bike I was looking for. I got to take it for a test ride before I bought it.
Didn't catch the employees name who helped us out but he did an amazing job fitting my wife for her first gravel bike. Was very attentive and informative throughout the process. The best part is that they let you test ride the bikes in their parking lot so you can get a feel for how it rides. She wound up going with the Cannondale Topstone, and we purchased on 8/24. Included those details so the guy who helped us out can get some recognition!!

Truly patient and knowledgeable crew. In the bike department, Craig helped cut a seat post down to the right height for my 7-year-old son. He took time for him sit on it after each cut to assess, carefully held the bike while he got on and off, and gave him helpful guidance on how to dismount properly. Then at the register, a young gentleman voluntarily showed us how to swap the lens options on sunglasses we were buying. These folks aren't there just for the money; they're in it to help EVERYONE get out and have fun, too!
