The EAC program is fantastic and I do not have any complaints. However I have noticed one change from previous years. I have noticed the children are not spending as much time outside, they are not as physically active as they have been in the past.
My daughter enjoys being there and loves the coaches. They keep the activities going, and I know she's not just sitting at a table for two hours till I pick her up. The staff are great about communicating how her day was and responsive to any needs.
Both my kids have been enrolled in Extend-a-care since they were both in Kinder and so far, have had great experiences. Love this program.
For the most part, EAC has been a mediocre alternative for after school care. Out of necessity, it only "works" for working families. My son enjoys the extra "play time" but that is what it is, "play time." I do not expect EAC staff to assume the responsibility of being a parent, but additional assistance with homework like the program states it will give is minimal at best. I like that there is good communication between the teacher and the patents. My son enjoys going to extend a care and tells me about the fun he has.
Very helpful and great teachers. My son enjoys going to Extend A Care and always has a great time. They help with homework when he has some and they always answer all the questions I have and I know he's in good hands when he's there
We love EAC at Pfluger Elementary. The staff is helpful, fun, and attentive!
