Worst customer service. My son made straight A’s on his last report card and we decided to come in and buy him a snake. Specifically a pastel ball python. We were ready to spend $300+ tonight on everything needed and the employees never asked for help and when we finally asked them to open the cage they said they were all extremely aggressive and wouldn’t let anyone hold them. Why do you have snakes in store that are FOR SALE and can’t be let out of the cage to purchase? PetSmart matthews has lost our business. Employees don’t want to handle the snakes and will make any excuse to not have too.

Contrary to other reviewers,I really like the grooming and treatment my grand dog gets at PetSmart. When he visits me, he lives in Chapel Hill, we have no trouble accessing his records and he always enjoys his time there during grooming.

I have a mixed review. The store came in handy for aquarium accessories for my turtle. However we went about 2 weeks ago and got some more fish. The same day I put them in the tank one was already dead in the bag. Some of The fish died within The first week... The fish I had for almost a year died....today the algae eater we have had for years died......1 last fish is hanging on looks like he barely swimming. This is horrible. All my fish have died and the last one purchased on that day is barely hanging on. I heard negative things about buying fish here; however I wanted to give them a chance. I am totally disgusted by this. I don't even know what this was and now I have to drain my huge tank and clean everything and start over.

Horrible just horrible. I took my dog there today to get his nails cut. It was my 4th time since moving to Matthews. I gave my phone number for them to tell me he is not in the system. It's funny though because before I even brought him there the first time I called and was told all his records are in the system because he was going to the south Blvd location. After them telling me he is not in the system I just left and drove to South Blvd. When I got there I gave them my phone number and oh I pulled right up with all my dogs info. I asked the South Blvd employee if the systems are connected and he said yes you can go to any location and give your phone number and your records will pull up. After all of this I am done with Matthews Petsmart the just don't care.

Very unprofessional and I believe they killed my dog don't like them.. they don't follow up after my dog died they didn't call me just pissed off at PetSmart... I feel they over-medicated my dog cause her to have a heart attack.. Country Boy calling for a boycott on PetSmart
