Established in 1948, Petroleum Club of Shreveport is one of the city's largest downtown clubs. Based in Shreveport, La., it caters to receptions, rehearsal dinners, corporate events, business meetings, banquets, charity events, holiday parties and special occasions. The club can accommodate as many as 200 for breakfast, lunch or dinner, 300 for seminars and 500 for cocktail receptions. Some of its recent events include Wildcatters Energy awards dinner, Petroleum Club 50 year's celebration and Ann & Grant rehearsal dinner.

I ordered prime rib for a wedding and received Chuck roast. The chicken oscar was not any better. The caesar salad had a pinch of dressing. The staff was professional, but hospital food taste better. It really took away from the wedding.

The best chef in the waitstaff at a private club in Shreveport. Special requests always turn out better than expected. Not like some of the other places.
The majority of the employees were exemplary, but management needs more training in customer service.
The Petroleum Club catered our wedding at an off-site location and did a fantastic job. From planning the menu to fit our vision and sourcing local ingredients (and beers), to coordinating set up with other vendors and serving every delicious item, they achieved perfection. And they're so much fun! We could not be more thankful for this talented and caring group of people who helped make our dream wedding a reality. I highly recommend the Petroleum Club of Shreveport!
