If you want a healthy puppy go to a reputable breeder. Unfortunately both of my daughters learned the hard way. Both bought Tibetan mastiffs, one from Pet Land in Ft. Myers, Fl. (Independently owned is my understanding), the other from a corporate Pet Land in Michigan. Both dogs have been diagnosed with hip dysplasia at 10 months and one year respectively. 2 individual and unrelated puppy mill breeders, with the only similarity being both are associated with Pet Land, neither are recorded in the AKC breeders directory.
