The ladies behind the front desk know very little about lumber, and always seem annoyed. They wasted my time putting a delivery order together that they knew they wouldn't deliver, because I missed the deadline by minutes. I told them that I would take my business elsewhere and they were delighted to hear this, as they watched me leave and called, "have a nice day" in a gleeful tone. I placed a small order for 35 to 40 bdft of 6/4 Ash that had to come from California. I was not in a hurry and said so. However, I needed 10' length, minimum 5 1/4" width and as clear of knots as possible. It was 15 days getting here, but whoever selected my boards did a fabulous job. Ash in 10' lengths is not readily available anyway and to have someone pick through the stack with the same critical eye as I would is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Peterman!
