Had Peter build me a set of wheels back in 2008, Mavic A719's with XT hubs for a Cross Check that I was planning to ride the heck out of commuting and doing some extended weekend rides on. Well, it's been 11 years since I built that bike, and although the last two or three years haven't seen it out of the garage much this year I've found myself out riding it again. My bike is my "car", and its security is no less important than its maintenance. So, when searching for Pitlock skewers I found Peter White Cycles... and later purchased from them. Glad I did.
I have bought several items from Peter White cycles, including 2 wheelsets, 1 custom built Dynamo wheel, a bottle Dynamo and lights for both of my bikes. everything, especially the wheels, has been very well built with high quality parts and over several years I have had no failures with anything I have bought from them. Peter seems like a straight shooter, no B.S. kind of guy and I appreciate that. I would recommend his shop highly and I will likely buy more stuff from them, though I don't see needing wheels any time soon.
Peter built me two wheelsets 15 years ago and they're still running and true.
