Peter Marin is an outstanding instructor. I've studied with him for two years through his Advanced Painting Lab, and just completed his Color Theory course as well. He is insightful and knows how to pull the most out of his students. The end-of-session group critiques are so informative and instructive. Highly recommend.

Peter Marin is a treasure that the City of Raleigh should be grateful to have working within their arts program. His method of teaching is fun-tastic, educational, encouraging, and inspiring to all no matter their previous art knowledge and experience.

There aren’t enough superlatives to use in describing how absolutely wonderful the Mexico City trip was that Peter Marin led. Not knowing Peter before this, and not being all that familiar with Mexico, there was some anxiety to be sure before the trip. We can honestly say that from the moment we met Peter at the airport in Mexico City, my wife and I felt we were being well cared for. What a unique experience it is to see Mexico City through the eyes of the admirable Peter Marin! He’s not afraid to bring his artist’s approach to Mexican art, history and culture and has deepened my understanding greatly. I will always feel more of a kinship with the Mexican people and be better for it. Our accommodations were very good, the food was fantastic and the learning opportunities endless. It was a small group of very congenial and compatible people, which was wonderful. Kudos to Peter!
