Peter is an enthusiastic and thorough teacher. I recommend any of his classes.
If you are looking for a copy/paint class, Peter Marin's introduction to painting is not it. But if you are looking to learn the fundamentals of lines and edges, the critical nature of values, what color really is ( and isn't) and to be encouraged and really understand the basics of painting to move your work forward, then run, don't walk, to his class. A really thoughtful, knowledgeable teacher intent on teaching a subject he clearly loves and is passionate about. Looking forward to taking more of his classes in the future.
Peter Marin is an outstanding instructor. I've studied with him for two years through his Advanced Painting Lab, and just completed his Color Theory course as well. He is insightful and knows how to pull the most out of his students. The end-of-session group critiques are so informative and instructive. Highly recommend.
I have taken three courses from Peter and I have learned so much. He is a very talented artist!
