Everyone is so nice at the wellness center. LeeAnn Simpson is really kind and helpful in the dining room.
It is unbelievable that we spent huge amounts of money for maps 3 senior wellness facilities just to let them fall to ruins. This one is six years old and is falling apart. The pool floor looks stained and dirty. The walls in the pool area are peeling. The air conditioning is constantly going out. The speakers in the gym are covered with dust and do not work. I dearly love and appreciate Pete White's. I joined 3 months ago and go there three times a week! Their indoor heated salt water pool is superb! Their daily lunches (for $2 optional donation) are delicious and nutritious! But I spend most my day in their art class room where all the supplies are free! They have lots if senior geared exercise classes plus an exercise equipment room and indoor walking track! I HIGHLY recommend for anyone and everyone!
Some free weights, most of the weight machines are minimally adjustable. Upright bikes are not user friendly but the recumbent bikes are excellent. Many pool classes interfere with self guided therapy. There is a hair salon and an arts & crafts room. 2 pool tables, a pickleball court, 4 tennis courts (outside) a lunch room with a small lunch for $2.
