Yesterday (Sunday 10th January 4:55pm ) a few friends and I visited Pet Barn Chermside. When we walked in we knew the store was closing very soon so we headed straight towards the items we needed to purchase. Although let me not get ahead of myself - as we walked into the store we were greeted rudely by one of the two young female staff with a foul look on her face advising us the store was closing in 1 minute. Visited the Chermside Petbarn on 23 Dec 2015 and had a wonderful experience. The heavy cat castle was kindly carried out to my car by the strong gals on shift and they gave great advice about a catnip spray that my new kitten loves! They also love animals and I feel genuinely want to talk about your new pet.
I went to this Petbarn on Friday 15th of May 2015 to buy some kitty litter. The staff were very friendly and one staff member (a guy but I don't know his name), carried the bag of kitty litter to my car for me! I was sick with a cold and was very appreciative of his kindness. I would definitely recommend this shop!
On Saturday 8/11/14 arvo. we went in as part of our research about owning a pet. The funky young ladies @ Petbarn knew their stuff; especially about dogs. They were friendly, down to earth and gave us practical, realistic info. (experts!!). They put us onto 12 animal rescue sites; encouraged us to explore these. I loved their ethical values relating to adopting a rescued dog, but in no way did they preached to us how our decisions should be made.
