Todd was paid in advance to prepare and file our 2013 taxes and did not. I found out from the IRS that they had not been filed and owed penalty fees. I then had to prepare and file myself and pay the penalty fees on top of the money he had already accepted from us. We made numerous attempts to allow him to reconcile this matter and were met with an impenetrable thicket of lies and obfuscation. We now have to settle the matter through claims court. Caveat emptor!
