RecommendedI’ve gone to Pet Supermarket on numerous occasions. I have several animals- I’m a veterinary professional and have 3 dogs, 2 cats, a snake, and fish. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences every time I’ve gone to this store. I’ve made a point to find out the names of two specific employees that always go above and beyond and are ridiculously good at their jobs. The other night my husband and I went in to purchase a nice amount of stuff for my 5 gecko tanks and there were 3 customers in the store, my husband and I and 1 other person. No one approached us to see if we needed help so after 20 minutes of standing there clearly in sight I went and asked for assistance. I was told they would be right there. 45 minutes later we put down a couple of hundred dollars worth of lights, hide outs plants and thermometers and started to leave. This is the first time I’ve ever given anyone a negative rating but I had a Terrible experience today. The cashier was extremely nice and helpful but the supervisor was absolutely snarky and rude. I went to go buy a certain brand of dog food because they carry it and a lot of other places don’t. I’ve been shopping here for years and as of today, it will be my last day. Desiree as a “manager” is a bad example of customer service. She argues with customers and I actually called to inform the manager about it and she said she was the manager. Then she proceeded to hang up on me without any further discussion, when I asked who HER supervisor was that I could speak with. DO NOT recommend this place.
Stopped in today to get bugs if they had any, majority of time they do not. Got wax worms and treats and asked employee if they had crickets, she said maybe a dozen or 2, asked her to get me some. She brought them in a tied plastic bag and I asked if they possibly had cups or the containers like worms are in with air holes. She said no, the bag was fine and they would last a long time.
