Cruel punishment I got a puppy from Pet Love in Glendale that had came in the same day, when by law they have to hold the puppy for 10 - 14 days. The next night the puppy had trouble breathing, bad coughs, fever, and bad sneezes. I took the puppy to the vet and found out the puppy has phenomia and a chance that the puppy will have to be put to sleep. alot of pets I came here to get a pet hamster for my brother. They have the pets in clean cages and the store seem clean and organize. The customer service was great and i recieved help right away. I grade this place an A
DO NOT SHOP AT THIS PET STORE – PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT PET STORES LIKE THIS. No-one should buy a puppy from a puppy store - I agree with everything on the below comment. Pet store puppies come from hideous puppy mills, the majority of them are already sick and will cost you thousands of $$ in vet bills. There is already a class action law suit against other pet stores in LA. If you want a puppy go to a rescue group or shelter. petfinder on the web is a great resource if you're looking for a pure breed.
$2000 to support cruelty? Overpriced and corrupt – Be clear on one thing: if you buy a puppy from this store (or ANY pet store, for that matter) you are supporting an industry of cruelty. The mothers of these puppies spend their entire lives in cages - some never set foot on solid ground - being bred every single time they go into heat. They are given no protection from the cold in the winter and no shelter from the heat in the summer. Gotta Love those Pets – Not as good as Petsmart. However Pet Love has many different kinds of animals that you pet lovers would surely adore. Rabbits, Turtles, Scorpions, Snakes, aswell as the pet staple of cats and dogs. The staff doesn't seem to friendly when it comes to question asking. So only keep interaction with them if you purchase an animal. At pet love you can actually pet the animals. Its like a poor man's petting zoo. So bring your kid in and have them touch a bunny. Maybe some good luck will rub off.
