Great selection & nice prices The store is clean and well stocked. Employees seem to be competent. Good, healthy selection of dog foods. Dog beds are priced competitively. They have lots of accessories for the owner. They sell pets here and seem to always have clean cages.
cute pet stuff This store had a lot of different things for your pets. It was easy to get around in unlike some of the others. Very clean. Unique stuff for them also. I loved it. I found a new store after going in there. I stop there every so often even if my dogs do not need anything. Great staff also. Very polite and helpful.
Hard to Find Foods... There are at Pet Goods!! I was traveling to NY to find some of the pet foods I feed and I finally found all of them ay Pet Goods and they are even cheaper than I was paying in NY. I saved the gas and the time too!! My dog Britt loves to go in here too as its not like other stores where its all busy and there are many dogs, its quiet and he gets to roam around freely choose the toys and treats he likes :)
Don't buy a live pet at the Paramus store WARNING!!!!! I wouldn't buy anything live at this store ever!!!! Recently a friend purchased a expensive pet, from the Pet Goods in Paramus, that was seriously ill at the time of purchase. After several days of the pet not eating, she brought it to a reputable Vet which determined that it was definately ill at the time of purchase and the stress of the change initiated the severe symptoms. Pet Goods is thumbs down I do not care for this store. I shopped there several times. There were bugs on the loose cookies, and dried dog pee on the floor. When I asked an employee for help with food, he seemed put out. The selection is good, and the prices okay, but there are nicer places to go, which I will.
Most pleasant dog supply store around! All the other pet stores I have been in (Petsmart & Petco) are so crowded and dirty. Pet Goods is clean, has a nice selection and good prices. If they weren't so good, I wouldn't go on 17, but they are worth it. PROS: clean, good prices, plenty of parking CONS: on route 17
Ruff Ruff! Fido will feel like he's died and gone to doggie heaven if you bring him shopping here. They have more toys and treats than any dog could ever imagine. (Their prices are really good so you won't feel too silly spoiling Fido as much.) The store is very nicely laid out - not too crowded like many of the pet superstores. They have an amazing selection - so many varieties of the various pet foods to choose from. I really like this place!
