My son was transferred to this agency from another Social Services agency at my request. We utilize Self-Direction, which requires timely communication and basic administrative competence. The agency took an unreasonable amount of time to assign a Fiscal Intermediary (FI). The first FI, assigned in 2024, exited my son’s case about a year later without explanation and was consistently unresponsive to emails and phone calls. Working at the day Hab was a challenge. The individuals were great to work with but some of the staff and especially management were horrible. I.e. Got written up while shadowing a group on my second day there, someone asked me, “what should I call you?” instead of, “I forgot your name, can you remind me?” and the staff at one of the IRA’s were always reporting back to my supervisor about where I would sit in the van.
