I previously had a Permatrim on my old 2 stroke 40HP outboard and was so impressed by it that it was a given that I'd go with the same product when I upgraded to a 50HP 4 stroke. Don't get me wrong, this won't turn your runabout into a superyacht but I can really notice the difference in "getting out of the hole"... with the boat fully loaded with fishing gear etc it's gone from about 20 seconds to get up on plane to 5 or so seconds, you can really feel it lifting the back end of the boat.
