Everything You Need for Biking
We recently purchased a new bicycle from this store, along with all the gears around biking. This store does not have a huge space, but it has everything you need for starting bicycling, and it has a very large selection. In addition to different types and grades of bicycles, they also sell accessories (locks, helmets, racks, pumps, headlights) and clothing. There is a service department where you can take a broken bicycle for repair. There is at least one employee who is extremely knowledgeable about bicycles in the store. Before we purchased our bicycle, we shopped many different stores before we came here, and we felt confused about all the different choices. When we came here, we received a lot of help from an employee, and we got exactly what we wanted. They also have a membership program which costs $20 to join (annual fee), and you get member discount and 1% cash back (in the form of a store credit for future purchases). We only joined because we made the initial big purchase (the bicycle). Otherwise it would not have been worthwhile for us because we are not active bikers. I think they have relatively low prices, and they have really sales if you go at the right time. The only thing is the checkout is very slow.
PROS: Knowledgeable employees to provide assistance, good sale prices.
CONS: Slow checkout, high cost for membership fee.
