parts Was looking for a replacement SRAM 970 chain. Local bike shop where I purchased the bike wanted $40 for this chain. Purchased the same chain at Fort Collins Performance store for $21. No brainer. Staff at store is friendly and helpful. Also this store supports the local bike clubs
Chain shop offers little As an avid cyclist, local buyer, and pretty laid back guy I didn't find anything in this shop worth liking. The employees are high strung. The shop reminds me more of a K-Mart than anything else, full of cheap, chinese made products. These chains have no personality whatsoever and are in it strictly for the money. Support shops that are in it for the love of bikes, not big chains like Performance.
Nice Bike Shop Performance Bicycle has great selection at reasonable prices. Their staff is both friendly and knowlegeable. They offer bikes, clothing, accessories and everything in between.
