The vibe of this place is impeccable. As soon as I stepped foot in the new shop a year or two ago, I was gobsmacked by the curation of ephemera that creates this space. I judge places primarily on vibe and this one passes. 5 stars for "atmosphere". Every other judgement metric is a distant second, and it gets all fives on those too. Food, Coffee, Gelato, goods for sale, outdoor patio. Great work. Keep it up. Thank you for your service.

Perch Home used to be my go-to for gifts, but since they moved to their new location on Baker Street, I don't like their selection of items. I have not eaten in their cafe, which seems to be pretty busy on the weekends. I miss the fun costume jewelry selection they used to carry as well as the other gadgets that were great gifts for people who have everything. They seem to concentrate mostly on kitchen knick-knacks, fancy candy and chocolates. It's unfortunate that Maplewood has lost several great gift stores these past few ... read more
Perch Home is such a lovely spot in Maplewood! The store is beautifully curated with unique home décor, gifts, and cozy finds—and the café inside is a hidden gem. Great coffee, delicious pastries, and a calm vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. Perfect place to shop and unwind in one go!
