Good in court, but bad out of it Perales was a good lawyer once he stepped into the court room. However, himself and his staff are very poor and unperfessional outside of the courtroom. I would receive letters late, I would receive no phone calls returning my messages, and I would not get my questions answered. Even though Mr. Perales or his staff would return my calls or answer my questions, they would still charge me for calling to ask.
