Discouraging. Was an amazing bank. Can't reach the front office anymore via phone. They leave you on a line to talk to people that aren't even a part of the bank, just cheap labor. Took me half an hour to get on the phone with someone, ended up on the phone with someone I could not understand. I miss peoples bank. Such an incredible establishment.
This used to be a great bank when it was Peoples. Now that it's orrstown, I've had nothing but problems. Starting from transferring money from one account to the other and it not being available, when they were both my accounts with Peoples (orrstown) bank. That makes absolutely no sense that the money wasn't available immediately and there was nothing they would do to help me. Refused a Navy Federal Verified Check (would not deposit or verify) for ~$12k..... Sold a car to some one 2 hrs away, and had all papers in order. In 30 years of banking never experienced this. Including individual, commercial or corporate banking. Bank manager accused me to my face of money laundering!?!! Had his driver's driver's license, account information, etc via PDF, jpg, and literally had him the phone with me at bank!!! THEN called police on me!?!??
