This is THE worst bank with which I have dealt. I was formerly on a bank board as well as their Nevada subsidiary so I know quite a bit about banking. Not only do they employ bankers who are adept at lying and deceiving, they actually support and defend these bankers who overpromise and underdeliver. Have had a terrible experience with Peoples State Bank with my original home mortgage; then only because they are the most reccomened in my area I went back again (thinking mistakes won’t happen twice) but they did. I have reached out to see if there is anything that can be done, and waiting to hear back. So I signed loan application for refinance, and PAID in full representing 3.875%. RecommendedWhat an incredibly passionate and caring lending staff. Our mortgage was a complicated one to say the least. Other lenders had turned their backs to us before, but Brandon Karaba worked tirelessly for us for 7 months to make it happen. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else for my future lending needs!

Some of the most uncooperative people I've ever worked with. my mother-in-law was in failing health and we were trying to coordinate her accounts. and then after she died they made it even worse. we needed to access the online banking to download statements, and it wouldn't let us do that either. even when we had the new tax ID number and the account wasn't closed yet. and then when they close the account the conveniently overlooked the letting us know and then for sure we couldn't access it. and wherever their people are ge... read more
