People's Self Help Housing is as corrupt as they come. They just raised my family member's rent by $600 a month! Plus they retroactivated it back to August 2023 (this is currently March 2024)! Isn't this place supposed to be "low income" housing? How on earth do they expect a low income family to be able to pay that size of increase AND how can they possibly believe that a low income family has enough money laying around to pay a 6 month retroactive $600 rent increase?!
