Sarah, Universal Banker Charleston WV branch, is exceptionally helpful on the front counter! She was able to find a "needle in the haystack" for me today:) She and Ally are always ready and able to help.
Do NOT open an account with this company. You will regret it. They will say they have given you overdraft protection. This is untrue. My mother has held an account here for many years, and the things they have done to her is horrible. She has literally signed with them three times or more about the over draft protection and then still gets fees. She had a loan with them, they claimed she missed payments when she had not. Danielle Dickens, a personal banker working for this company has assisted me greatly. I recently had a car accident that resulted in having some debt left from my old vehicle after insurance did its part. Danielle not only helped me by giving me very fact based info on my account, but she also kept in touch with me in a very professional but also human way. Im very impressed with this representative and believe if the world had more like her then the world would be a much smoother place.
The reason I left 5 stars is only because of an employee Sarah. There was some miscommunication on their part and she helped me understand what was going on. Very compassionate of her job and others. We need more customer service like her everywhere
This is the worst bank in Charleston, WV! The customer service is at its all time low. The young girls at the counter were incredibly rude, dismissive, and demeaning. They were not helpful and did not try to rectify the situation at all. Not only were they unprofessional, but their behavior was also outright racist. It’s clear to me that they have no regard for basic courtesy or respect. It’s unacceptable for any business, especially a bank, to allow this kind of behavior.
