Today I had my first ever issue with People's Bank, a check I'd deposited never made it into my account. I called and bank employees worked for a couple hours to help find my missing $150 check. They were looking at security cameras, digging through databases... They couldn't find it, because it was on my kitchen table, but wow, they tried really hard and were wonderful to me, despite me being an old idiot. Absolute top-notch customer service. I received a check that was from a customer of this bank. Went to the bank it was from and because I don't have a account with them, they changed $10 to cash.. I truly believe this is uncalled for. It's their check. In tuff times and a depressed area they are not helping anyone except for themselves. I will never do business with them again. You have been warned, unless you like giving your money away. Id do business elsewhere.
