I was so dis quested with this bank sudden adjustments in my account I found out I was paying for hidden fees that I was never told about or any w/d by the bank that I agreed to. My balance kept shifting and dropped below zero balance several times when I had sufficient funds to carry me to next deposit.This bank needs to be investigated for their practices.

I started working a mortgage banker in January 2017. Around March, we were still working on getting the mortgage, I was already preapproved and had sent me documentation in at least two. HIs employment terminated and I was transferred to another banker and then transferred to the branch manager. It is now August, I have sent my documentation two more times, paid out of pocket $*** for an appraisal and they still have not completed my mortgage. Mortgage Origination personnel at People's Bank were negligent in their duties and were not willing to take responsibility for their actions that material negatively affected our potential mortgage.

This bank needs to be stopped. They cold call me 3-6 times daily despite my request to ask to have my phone number removed from their system. The last representative actually confronted me and asked why my credit was pulled for a re-fi if I didn't want anyone contacting me. When I told him that I wasn't obligated to give him a reason for why I do anything, he said "so in other words, you're working with another lender." as if he's my boyfriend catching me cheating. This bank has not handled my requests for a loan in a quick and professional manner. How long should it take to give me an answer? It took so long we had 3 appraisals and now they have allowed it to lapse 1 more time and even though they paid for the last appraisal, I think it's time to look for another bank. We are done with Peoplesbank, their motto is "bankingunusual", at least they have that right.
