Great to see that Pennine Sauna has reopened (September 2025). I went on a Wednesday at lunchtime and had a good time. Saw some old faces, but also some new. Everyone was friendly. Great little sauna.
Going again tomorrow what about 2 weeks a go love it can't wait to go bk

Reception staff were welcoming and friendly. Extra towels at no cost (which is just as well!).Large sauna cabin. Mostly a very mature clientele. Overall the place is incredibly dated and dirty. If you sit down in the sauna/steam room, I suggest keep your towel on, and when you get up, inspect the back of your towel for stains. Not that I needed one, but just so you know, there is only one private cabin. Everywhere else is communal. Love this place mainly older guys.Plenty of action on steam and dark. Unfortunately it is closed due to a fire in the launderette Unfortunately word has it that it won't reopen. It is due to reopen in about 4 weeks , today's date is 27th May.It has reopened get down there
