My daughter has been struggling with belly issues and we were referred to this facility to try and get answers. We had to wait 5 months for the appointment. When the day finally came we showed up and the lady at the front desk was unable to check us in. She said that our appointment had been canceled because the doctor was no longer in the office today. HORRIBLE customer service and their employees must hate their job. As I’m due to have a baby in June, I was told to schedule a tour awhile and pick a pediatrician. Immediately once I told her why I was calling, she caught an attitude and said she can’t do anything for me as my baby hasn’t been born yet. She continued to have a smart mouth so I just hung up. After waiting months to receive blood test results, 3 hours before my daughter’s appointment, they called and left a VM to cancel the appt. When I called back, the scheduler told me that I won’t be able to get back in till 3 months later. Absolutely ridiculous, when THEY canceled 3 hours before an appt. I asked to receive the test results over the phone and was told I was transferred to a nurse, but the line was dead with no answering service. I recently visited this pediatric office with my 3-year-old child and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience. Some of the staff seemed uncomfortable working with children and struggled to communicate effectively in a pediatric setting. More concerning, I felt that both my child and I were treated unfairly and with bias, which gave me the impression of discriminatory behavior. Not that I'm a fan of Penn State or anything but we go here because we found an amazing doctor here for our kid named Dr. Fugate. Extremely satisfied with him. Great Dr. and person.
