I’ve been to a fair amount of acupuncturists over the past 20 years, and Ted Ray at Peninsula Acupuncture is by far the best. He’s my go-to. Since 2019, I’ve been to see him countless times for both physical and emotional issues. This review is WAY overdue as I have seen Ted a handful of times since my first visit 4+ years ago. Ted has helped me with a variety if issues including pain and discomfort associated with an ankle break, back pain and spasms as well as other miscellaneous issues that I can't figure out how to resolve otherwise. While I don't go to him on the regular (I probably should) he is always finding a way to get me in, even in a emergency which I have had a few. Plus his team of body workers are great as well. I highly recommend Peninsula Acupuncture. Ted is very knowledgeable and competent. This was my first experience with accupuncture and I would not hesitate to go back in the future.

I was a skeptic, but acupuncture works great, and Ted is awesome. I first went to Ted over 10 years ago for back pain. Then it was for a tail bone pain after slipping down some stairs. I'm a big guy who abused his body too much when he was young, and acupuncture is what keeps me from being another cranky old guy.

Ted is a lifesaver!!! I had tried getting relief from my peri-menopause and hip pain for years. I was so frustrated with not having any luck or improvement with my regular practitioners, ibuprofen, massage therapy, or yoga stretches, I tried acupuncture. Wow! After my series of visits paired with an herbal prescription, my mobility greatly increased and the hip and menstrual pain is so minimal and infrequent. Plus, I rarely use ibuprofen anymore!
