In January 2021, I needed to find assisted living for my mom. I had called several communities without any luck—until Meghan Fix came to my rescue! She immediately made calls on my behalf and went above and beyond to help. Meghan is considerate, caring, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. Over the years, I’ve continued to reach out to her for guidance. Even though my mom has never been under her direct care, Meghan always answers my calls and offers amazing advice and support. Thank you, Meghan, for being such a treasure!
My mother went to Penfield Place for rehab. Everyone there was wonderful. I can’t say enough good things about the physical Therapist Sandy. She got mom up and walking multiple times a day. No 20 minute rehab and sit in your room the rest of the day here! I would highly recommend Penfield Place for rehab!
Absolutely horrible place. If I could rate this 0 stars I would. The nurses have no care for the well being of the residents. The nurses leave the residents with literal feces underneath their finger nails and do not attend to them. They also push the residents causing harm. Do your loved ones a favor and stay away from this terrible place as this will be where they spend the rest of there life.
Choosing a facility that will provide the level of care and compassion you hope to receive for an aged relative or friend is daunting. I am happy that I selected Penfield Place for caring for a now 96 year-old who is facing the difficulties that come with an advanced age. From the admission process to the day-to-day care, the staff at Penfield Place have done an excellent job in their care delivery to my friend and their communications with me. My mom has been only here a couple days but so far these people are AWESOME! My mom came from independent living then Highland Hospital. Everyone here is super friendly. Megan brought us in here with such care. I felt like she was a family member. i could not ask for a better experience! THANK YOU Penfield Place!
