Choosing a facility that will provide the level of care and compassion you hope to receive for an aged relative or friend is daunting. My mom has been only here a couple days but so far these people are AWESOME! My mom came from independent living then Highland Hospital. Everyone here is super friendly. Megan brought us in here with such care. I felt like she was a family member. i could not ask for a better experience! THANK YOU Penfield Place!
My husband just finished a month long stay after open heart surgery and was in need of cardiac rehab. The entire staff here was very friendly and considerate. The PT & OT here was excellent and proficient in working around limitations and got him to return to normal. He also experienced some unforeseen complications that required skilled nursing care and thanks to their expertise were able to manage and result in a favorable outcome. What an excellent experience my family had at Penfield Place! After getting out of the hospital recently, our father recently spent three weeks in the rehab section of the facility. I worked closely with the Director of Social services to get my Dad admitted. She answered all my questions before and during his stay. She also provided updates on insurance coverage appeals, therapy progression and worked closely with the social worker from his assisted living facility to get him back there. Many thanks to her. My brother Tim, spent the last several weeks of his life at Penfield Place. We found the staff to be kind and compassionate. It is evident that staff members work hard on behalf of the residents who live there. They are responsive and knowledgeable about caring for the elderly. The facility is clean and bright. The single rooms offer quiet and private surroundings. We would highly recommend Penfield Place.
