I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Have not missed a payment, had proof the money was withdrawn from my account with the automatic withdrawal, and they claimed “no payment” was made or that it was “late.” When I asked how this is true when my payment is set up to automatically withdraw every month and I had proof of the transaction, they pretty much told me there’s nothing they could do. I have been a member at the Haygood Va Beach, Va location for many years before it was Penfed and the entire staff has always been professional.They always go above and beyond to solve any problems that may occur. If it is something that the Haygood staff cannot solve they will put you contact with another Penfed employee who can. This location is the best! Keep up the great job everyone!

Worst credit union! When it comes to the elderly this credit union don’t care . My dad is 81 years old .. A horrible business owner took 3,500 dollars out his account . This was not authorized . We got no alert from the bank asking if this is you . We got a bill a month later and automatically filed a fraud and new card was issued . I can’t believe they bait and switched me on a car loan. They offered me a pre-approval of 4.99% and then when they approved me they wanted more interest and would refuse to disclose why they were giving me a higher rate.
