Been with the Wilkes Barre Branch since is was Tobyhanna CU. Great customer service, very helpful. PenFed is great, their process times on transactions are a bit slow but that's what a checkbook is for.
I've been a member of PenFed for over 20 years. The Wilkes Barre branch is in no way up to the standard of PenFed that I have banked with so long. The acquisition of this branch is alarming. Bad business move.
No pending transactions on their website. Customer service wait times are long and they often have to transfer you to another department, which means more being put on hold. Once they "couldn't find" about $12 in my account that was inexplicably missing but they couldn't tell me where. Avoid this CU.
