I used to bank with them years ago when they open Covington branch they opened one in Slidell. It was good back then. Then when they moved across northshore hospital the bank went down hill. I would go on regular business days and they would always be closed. I figured they were closing for good. I wouldn’t recommend this bank to my worst enemy. That’s a shame to say. If I could rate this bank it would be a negative 10.
Horrible service. Submitted an application three weeks ago. Messaged them. No response. Calling them is s huge waste of time. Takes a long time to reach someone and then they punt to someone else who is supposed to call you back. All I wanted to do was open an account, not borrow money. I am from up north and we never were treated like this. Frankly, I wouldn't trust hese people with my hard money if my life depended on. How could I? They are nearly impossible to talk with. The staff is so welcoming. Kelli Thompson is such a pleasure to work with. She is beyond helpful and made things happen for us. I recommend them 100% for financial anything.
It's a good bank overall but to get two stars due to the banks never open on Saturdays that's when he need to do business the one that was not open Saturday January 25th as of now
Back around 0ct. 5th 2023, I spent 5 hours working on a travel trailer loan with Pelican on Gause.l Blvd, Slidell. My credit score was 740, my income was right. They claim to loan 110% on this type of collateral. After 5 hours they wanted $4500 down payment, because they said the purchasing camper was only worth $23,000 . They had the vin number.
