I have used Alter Tax Services, Peggy Alter, for many years (10+ years). We just learned that she had not been taking our deductions for rent. Then when confronterd, she stated she was giving us a "discount" on her fee. She was beyond unprofessional & rude. She told us she "ate" the loss. She's charged us $175 when she charges $223 to do the taxes, not once mentioning this was a discount, as in her fees were higher than what she verbally expressed.
