Chris may be good with traditional bikes and is a nice fellow, but e-bike owners beware. My bike no longer functions after being in this shop. He bled my brake cable in July, but the brakes still were weak. I brought it back in August after about 20 miles of rides with no issues other than weak brakes. We agreed that he would replace the pads and the back tire, but a few days later he suggested replacing the chain. I brought in a part I needed replaced. I was told to buy a certain one and he would install it. I bought it waited 2 weeks to get it. And it was crazy short/different than I needed... I went to a shop to have something done right.. and it was just a waste of money and time
Chris really knows what he is doing! Please support this local store, he works hard and does a great job.
This place does excellent work on e-bikes a and I would totally recommend this place to anyone who is looking to get there bike worked on and the people that work here has the patience of a saint
I called this bike shop for a simple question about fixing gears on an old Barracuda bike. Before even seeing the bike, Chris quoted me $400–$600. No inspection. No diagnosis. Just threw out a number higher than the bike is worth. That’s not a repair estimate — that’s a guess meant to scare people into overpaying.
