The head office, especially Guna is a joke. Very unprofessional. I am a previous employee from the previous year. A few months ago, I asked for my T4 to file this year, I asked if it can be emailed to me as I have changed addresses and no longer live in the address on file. Guna said she cannot email my T4, but if I wanted it mailed to my new address, I need to show proof of my new address. They provide a wide range of services for seniors. Without Peel Senior Link, my 94 year old mom would have a tremendous amount of difficulty getting through the day.
Senior Management is discriminative based on culture and colour. Non-white ununionized staff are ill-treated; their rates are below industry norm and general labour pay. Their annual increment had been 18 cents for the past couple of year whereas white staff even students get $6 increment with benefit even before completing 1 year. Black & other community staff are excluded from yearly performance adjustment pay. White staff are asked to work in-person less days than non-white staff in hybrid work setup.
