Great staff! Our bikes were a bit rough (a few of our group had dry chain leading to crunchy gears), but worked well and battery life was increíble. Wished that the bikes had a water bottle holder to not have to dig into a bag for it. They did give free bungee cords to hold bag to back though! Fair price and timing.
We were disappointed by the quality of the bikes. We rented two bikes and a little kid trailer. The trailer was disgusting, we could not close the netting/screen because it was too dirty and our daughter complained all the time of getting hit by little pieces of gravel in the carriage roads. A hose down now and then would go far. One of the bikes had a pouch for tools and a map. When reaching in for the map I found a food wrapper- NOT OUR FOOD. The lack of cleanliness takes away from the experience.
We rented e bikes here on a recent trip. Pros: The bikes are a ton of fun to ride. They had more availability than other shops in town. Staff is really nice Cons: Website has ZERO information when you rent other than bike size. No detail on policies, age limits, nothing. Bikes were in rough shape. One even had a significant warp in rear tire
Great experience, a must do! Electric bikes on the acadia bike trails was an awesome experience for me and my kids. Rented the bikes for 2 hours and had a blast.
Great experience with Pedego Electric bikes. We didn’t have reservations in advance so we were very lucky Pedego had some bikes available for walk in. We did a half day rental which was plenty of time to bike the Jordan Pond loop and stop in to Jordan Pond for a bite to eat. It took a little bit to adjust to the cadence ebike mechanisms since we were coming from experiences with E-bikes that used torque sensors. Again, would highly recommend!
