Rented 2 e-bikes for the day mid October. We walked off the cruise ship dock to the rental location 2 blocks away and was able to ride onto the carriage roads in Acadia NP straight from the shop. This was so convenient rather than renting from places that require you to meet at the visitors center. The ride was the highlight of the entire cruise vacation. Don't wait. Reserve your bike and pedal through Acadia National Park on the carriage trails. The pedal assist on these e-bikes will allow you to see so much of the park. You don't have to hunt parking spaces or over exert yourself pedaling. Just enjoy the beauty of the park. The check in and out process was super easy. The owner was great at swapping out bikes to meet my needs.
We hadn’t planned on renting e-bikes during our stay but we are so glad we did! The shop is close to the park and renting, learning the bike and returning was all an easy process. We had so much fun! Highly recommend and had a great experience with Pedego!
Four of us rented bikes for two days! They let us keep them at our vrbo overnight! On our second day, we used up the battery going up Cadalac Mountain and didn’t make it all the way up. We went back down and called the shop and he said we could come in to switch batteries! We drove right over to the shop and he gave us two fully charged batteries so we could tackle that mountain. So we set off again and this time we made it to the top! Very friendly service, and great explanations on how to use the bikes! We recommend!
