I hired an electric bike from Pedego Cycles to help me keep up with my brother while I cycled the C&O Canal Towpath and I couldn't have had a better experience. Shout out to Todd at Pedego who was so helpful. He took the time to recommend the right bike me and made sure we had everything we needed, including a rear rack and even a mounting bar to help transport the bikes on our car. Huge thanks to Todd over at Pedego My sister came in from out of town and we needed an E-bike rental to ride the CWO trail from Cumberland to DC, multi day bike packing trip and bike held up amazing, we averaged 60miles a day even with all the gear on the bike, the bike still rode into town with 11% battery at the end of each day! We had an amazing time. One of the funnest activities we have done in a while. We rented the E-bikes in Alexandria and headed down the bike trail to Mt Vernon which was about a 9 mile ride and then headed back north 2 miles past the bike shop to grab lunch and slushies at Catboat right along the trail/river. So in total we probably rode about 22 miles. And when we returned the bikes they still had battery life. We did the 4 hour window just so not to be rushed.
