I’ve been a Pecks customer and now Foodtown for over 40 and I’m about to boycott this place. One cashier most of the time. No one at the service desk. It’s no longer a community grocery store. Prices are high, but it was all about convenience. Now it’s high prices and not convenient. I will drive farther if I have to:(
I have been shopping at Pecks for over 15 years. Since the new owners took over, I have shopped there less because some of the items they used to carry are no longer on the shelves. But I stopped in on Monday with my list and picked up several item. A few were on sale. But when I checked out, thats when the fun began. As I walked up to check out, I noticed the cashier was texting on her phone she never acknowledged me when I loaded the belt with my items. Our first time shopping there they where very friendly polite it was convenient and fast
Pecks was always higher priced the ShopRite but at East they were friendly and we were supporting local .. now that is been bought out the prices have gotten even higher and many of the old employees have moved . I only shop there if desperate
