I have always loved this store and come here every year for gifts and the Old World Christmas ornaments. However, I was very disappointed today when I was refused the box that comes with these ornaments due to them being “out of stock”. Yet, I could clearly see them fully stocked behind the counter with a sign that said “to not distribute these with ornaments that are on sale”. Very strange and poor etiquette by the shop to do this. I brought my service animal into this store. The staff asked me if my dog was a service animal. I responded yes. They asked me if I had a certificate for her. I replied no. They then followed me around and stared at me until I was uncomfortable enough to leave. They said things to one another such as “we are keeping an eye on them.”. I have shopped here for years and will no longer return, which will probably make them happy as they clearly don’t want people with disabilities to shop in their store. Gifts of all kinds. Will find a gift for even the hardest to please here.
This store was a treat to walk into. There was a myriad of unique gift items, housewares, unique art, wonderful hand crafted chocolates that one fantasizes about. Everything was set apart to see how to display the works,, if going to a new home. Definitely a store I’d recommend, hope to visit again
Great shop and would love to do birthday/Christmas shopping here but an associate was rude to me for browsing (was not disruptive). Simply put, I will not be shopping here
